Hello, lovely.

What if you could become your own fairy-godmother, a gentle guide who understands your struggles and believes in you unconditionally? What if transformation doesn’t begin with grand gestures, but with kind moments of listening to yourself? And what if healing doesn’t arrive through the constant chatter of your mind, but through your body that has been quietly looking after you all this time?

I’ve been thinking about you lately… about how hard it is to be kind to yourself when the world is scary and uncertain. When political systems spin out of control, or when illness (yours or that of someone you love) makes regular life challenging or impossible. When it gets harder to buy the fancy cheese, to dream of taking a vacation, or even make a decent living. When the folks you count on to be calm and dispense good pep talks are lost inside social media feeds, anxious and white-knuckling it. Uncertainty and loss of control rarely bring out the best in humans.

Many of us are having a tough time right now. We have harsh inner critics living rent-free in our heads. We’re exhausted from trying to manage things beyond our control, hollowed out with worry, and shattered from the effort required to maintain the illusion of being perfect, in person and online. We long for a gentler way of being with ourselves and each other. Never in my lifetime has it been more urgent to establish a peaceful home base inside ourselves.

For 20 years, I was an international school counselor, and for the past eight years, I’ve walked alongside private clients as a certified life coach. In fact, I’ve always been a fairy-godmother to others, lending care and support where I could. Yet the most profound magic was still waiting—the moment I would learn to turn that compassionate gaze inward.

Weirdly, maybe miraculously, developing a debilitating dizziness and balance disorder delivered the opportunity to finally become my own fairy-godmother.

During this eight week course, I’ll be your guide as you befriend your sweet self and learn how to feel safer and more peaceful, no matter what is happening in your life or the world.

Week 1: In which we summon our own fairy-godmother | Explore what kinds of magic you bring to your own life

Week 2: In which we gather glimmers | Recognize tiny moments of joy and become more intentional in creating them

Week 3: In which we befriend our nervous systems | Develop a personalized and gentle set of tools for self-regulation

Week 4: In which we regard our thoughts as passing clouds | Create spaciousness in your life by recognizing that you are not your thoughts and life has more to offer beyond your current story

Week 5: In which we practice self-compassion, fierce and tender | Practice the kind of self-compassion that is required in each situation. Experiment with transforming self-criticism into love

Week 6: In which we nurture our inner children | Recognize, get to know, and embrace all of the versions of you. Understand what they have to offer and how you can protect them

Week 7: In which we future craft | Using the maps you’ve created throughout the course, begin plotting small steps towards the yummy life you most deeply desire

Week 8: In which we integrate & celebrate | Consolidate your learning and celebrate your journey
